文莱2014年版5分硬币（收于2018年）文莱，全名文莱达鲁萨兰国，又称文莱伊斯兰教君主国，古称渤泥；世界上最富有的国家之一，人均GDP位居世界第六；总面积为5765平方公里；总人口42万（2016年）；首都斯里巴加湾市；现任王储比拉。

文莱是个历史悠久的国家。15世纪，伊斯兰教传入文莱，建立苏丹国。1888年成为英国的殖民地。1941年被日本占领，1946年英国恢复对文莱控制。1963年英国策划将文莱纳入“马来西亚联邦”，文莱拒绝参加。1984年1月1日完全独立。
