天眷通宝，中国古代钱币之一。金代早期铸币，因存世绝少，天眷通宝至今未见谱载。天眷通宝分小平和折二，平钱有楷，篆两种书体。

天眷通宝折二钱面文为楷体，直径3厘米，重约7.2克。天眷通宝平钱为楷书体，右旋读，其中“眷”字多书一横;而“通”字写法颇肖南宋“建炎通宝”之“点建”钱的写法，“宝”分作三笔，甚奇。该钱光背，棕褐色包浆，字间有入骨锈，制作精整，应为官铸。[1]“金代天眷通宝真书折二”早年出土于河南省，原为泉届名家收藏。

正面楷书天眷通宝，外圆内方，象征天地乾坤，天眷通宝铜钱标准的楷书版，其“通”字的“走之旁”并无连笔，明显有别于先前两品；“天”、“眷”、“宝”等三字相较前者，亦显周正稳健、端庄持重；此外，从图中可见，此品之背郭相较其它两品而言，更为精整，似有徽宗钱之余韵却又胜其三分，由是观之，此天眷版式为泉界首见，可谓奇珍中之奇珍！

“天眷通宝”的主人是金代的第三位皇帝，金熙宗完颜亶（下文皆以“金熙宗”称之），他是金太祖完颜阿骨打的嫡长孙；金熙宗虽是女真皇族，却自幼接受汉化教育，受学于汉人儒士韩昉等人，通经史，善文辞，举手投足之间，“宛然一汉家少年子”！

锈层与器物本体浑然一体，几乎没有分离感，结实地贴在器物表面，多成绿色，真锈是有颗粒感，而不是像粉末一样，而且真锈颜色有深有浅极其自然，这些是一些仿制者无法做到的，可以看到这枚钱币整体绿绣有内而外，而且颜色有深有浅，层次感极强，且富有颗粒感，经专家鉴定为罕见的真品钱币，值得收藏传世。

天眷年号使用三年，之后，金熙宗改元皇统，中国国家博物馆藏有“皇统元宝”小平篆书一品，而戎畋松先生亦曾旧藏“皇统通宝”折二篆书一品，此二品皆可印证金熙宗皇统年间亦曾鼓铸皇统制钱。

缘何天眷、皇统两种制钱皆失载于史，似与金熙宗的结局关系重大，金熙宗于皇统九年腊月被完颜亮等人所弑，死后被降封为“东昏王”（“熙宗”庙号直到近四十年之后的金世宗大定二十七年才得以追封），而继位者就是这位弑君者完颜亮，完颜亮由于得国不正，极有可能将金熙宗一朝的重要史书有所损毁，否则，铸钱这等大事，竟完全不见于史，实在令人匪夷所思。正可谓天道好还，完颜亮最终也为部下所杀，死后被追贬为“海陵庶人”，难逃史笔之诛！
